Master Data Products
This option applies to all 2013 data collected for the HyspIRI airborne campaign. The retrieval code has been updated to match the prototype HyspIRI TIR retrieval and atmospheric correction (see ATBD's at http://hyspiri.jpl.nasa.gov/documents). The TIR products are generated using the ASTER Temperature Emissivity Separation (TES) algorithm combined with an updated Water Vapor Scaling (WVS) method which optimizes the atmospheric correction parameters automatically on a band-by-band, and pixel-by-pixel basis. WVS coefficients are currently optimized for the ER2 flight altitude of 20 km. Primary product outputs are surface temperature and emissivity for window channels 43, 44, 47, 48 and 49. In the future the standard option will be available for all data, but WVS coefficients still need to be computed for all flight altitudes.
