The link below provides access to some higher level data products than the standard 1b MASTER data products. These are typically level 2 products (surface geophysical data) or level 3 products (surface geophysical products gridded in space or time). The data has been processed to higher levels, including surface MSH MASTER radiance and in some cases to temperature and emissivity. The correction to surface radiance was undertaken using the MODTRAN radiative transfer code driven by an NCEP profile interpolated in time and space to the aircraft overpass time. The input profile is included with the higher level products together with the parameter file used to process the data. The data were processed with WINVICAR, a free windows-based image processing package for general image analysis with custom routines specifically for processing the MASTER data.
